so I am curious what the performance lost to tessellation across the two archetecures are. I am noticing performance loss when tessellation is on (and lack of performance overall) in many games and benchmarks on my RX 7700S that I did not notice in those games on my old laptop with its RX 560X
Game: Just Cause 3
Benchmark: Uengine Heaven
Laptop 1: Ryzen 5 3550H, Radeon RX 560X
Laptop 2: Ryzen 9 7940HS, Radeon RX 7700S
Does the lack of Geometry engines really effect the performance in that aspect as much as it seems to be?
Anyways I am hoping AMD adds in deticted Geometry engines again on RDNA4 so that the performance impact from tessellation and high polycount models is lessened significantly.
