FPS Recording Issues with AMD Software

I’ve been running into a problem with my AMD recording settings and I could really use some help. I have a 144Hz monitor but for some reason, the AMD capture software is only letting me record at 60fps. Even though my game is running fine at 144-200 fps, the recording feels choppy. I’ve tried adjusting the settings but nothing seems to fix it. Anyone know what could be causing this or how to get it working properly?

Hey Mimar! It sounds like the issue could be tied to either your recording settings or how the AMD software is interacting with your monitor's refresh rate. First, make sure you're recording at the correct frame rate (144fps or higher) in the AMD software. Sometimes, it's set to 60fps by default. Also, try enabling V-Sync or Adaptive Sync to ensure smoother recording. Another thing to check is whether your capture software is using hardware encoding (like H.264 or HEVC), which can offload some work to your GPU and reduce performance issues. Lastly, double-check your monitor's refresh rate settings in Windows—make sure it's set to 144Hz in the display settings. Let me know how it goes, and hopefully, we can get those smooth 144fps recordings working!
