Do i need to update my AMD

My current AMD is version 17.1 and my loptop is not that kind of a gaming loptop it`s just like a casual loptop but i can still play games like sims 4 RE5 state of decay. What i`m thinking is if i will update my AMD do i will get a good fps or performance in my games or no? some of my games here is not that smooth but still playable. thank you.

your driver does not magically increase your Hardware capabilities

yet it brings new features.

what dGPU has your laptop?
