So need one of these a mid grade 1-1500 ish detachable windows 10 laptop with a gpu from Amd the only ones I can find seem to be 2000-3000 Canadian

best bang-4-buck is something like an Acer Nitro 5

btw - right now, due to corona forcing millions of people to "home office", there is a shortage on ANY Laptops - especially cheaper or mid-range laptops

like i ordered a Laptop for my uncle early in December - it will arrive in late Jan or early Feb...
its a AMD Ryzen 5 4500U 15.6" for 550€ (865cad) - i just add 16GB DDR4-3000 and a second 2TB SSD and he is happy for the next 2-3 years for a total of 800€ (1250cad) 😉
