AMD Radeon Software - Would you want AMD to develop an LED controller add on to the software?

So, I've been thinking about this, and thinking about the lack of standardization of LED software.  MSI has Mystic Light, Corsair has ICue, Asus has their own, and so on, and it just seems like no one software "does it all", and god forbid you have a system that mixes these companies, their software can actually conflict.  And let's not talk about the lack of updates and bugginess of the software for each of these products.

In light of this, If AMD came up with an LED component to control the color of their LED on their cards, and also baked in support for multiple models of Motherboards and other products so that everything could be controlled from their Radeon Software and properly unify all these different technologies, would you support it?

I would personally, because I think AMD would stay on top of their software a lot better than these other companies.  What do you think?

This is a great topic, and personally yes, I would totally support this. Like you mentioned, it's inconvenient to have to use different software and some of the issues that can arise from mixing software/companies can be more than a little annoying.

It would be nice to have one piece of software for all RGB components, and it could open up some nice options.

But the whole RGB thing as it is now, as in 101 different implementations would be a hornets nest to create good software for. Also AMD does not make RGB controllers itself, so i dont see that happening soon.

Still, its a good idea and maybe they could create an API which could use or publish frame-data.
