5700xt vs EVGA 1080ti FTW3

I current have a 1080ti FTW3 and between Nvidia drivers and everything else I am not getting very good performance out of my card. Right now the gaming rig is running a Gigabyte x470 Gaming Ultra and a Ryzen 2700x with 32GB of 3333 DDR4 Ram so I am not sure if switching to 5700xt would help or not. Cavet I did not purchase the 1080ti, I normally run Team red R9 390x and a RX480 4G prior to this but the 1080ti was a Christmas gift from my late mother as the latest card on the market when she bought it.

Try Nvidia Forum for help. I run RTX2080OC cards and not had problems with them at all, so maybe you might want to try an RTX GPU?

It looks like your existing GTX1080Ti beats RX5700XT by ~ 9% in that review. 
It looks like the GTX1080Ti requires ~ 12% more power than RX5700XT.
