Ive always wanted to create an epyc based server and was curious on the steps I should take for a nas, openvpn, git server and maybe more.
I was thinking about using freenas and having that on a m.2 that the server would boot from.
I would start up virtual machines for openvpn and git and keep them separate and for the nas i would pass through all the HDD's.
I've never messed with a server nor have I used virtual machines for anything useful. Most of my servers currently are handled by multiple raspberry pi's lol.
