Measuring CPU Time for a Function in uProf CLI

As the subject states, I want to know if it is possible to use AMDuProfCLI to profile any listed events along with some measure of CPU time. I know that AMDuProfCLI has a way to measure CYCLES_NOT_IN_HALT. However, considering that the frequency of the processor is not constant, is there anyway to get. more accurate measure of CPU time relative to functions in AMDuProfCLI? Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi @hlanka3

Thank you for writing to Server Guru.
You can use the option "-e event=timer" in AMDuProfCLI along with other required events to get "CPU_TIME" for the hotspot functions.
