I'm experiencing a specific issue with my laptop. I've noticed several people online encountering the same problem. I'm using an HDMI connection, but both the Windows and Linux operating systems aren't displaying the correct resolution for my monitor. My monitor is 3440 x 1440, but the OS recommends 3840x2160, which isn't compatible with my monitor.
The laptop is from the Lenovo Edge Series, specifically the ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 (type 21ED 21EE), and the monitor is the Dell S3422DWG. I've already opened support tickets with both Lenovo and Dell.
Interestingly, I don't encounter this problem on my gaming laptop.
