Please help me, i have an absurd problem born only yesterday (before yesterday never had such problems), when i updated Warzone to the latest season 3, if launching the game  (battle.net client) get istant DirectX error 0x887a0005 etc, i also updated the drivers to Adrenalin 23.4.1 but nothing. Try different solution on YT tried over 20 solutions...all failed (over 7 hours of trying fix).

Finally formatted, installed pure win10 Msdn and updated only system files and drivers (no other software installed) and downloaded warzone2, same error.

My pc
Main: Asus Rog Strix 570 E Gaming
Cpu: Ryzen 3900 X
Gpu: Vega 56

Help please 

Note: warzone2 season 1 and 2 never had similar problems, work fine, only season3 give me this problem.

Oggi pomeriggio mi faccio dare una 3060 da un amico che la vende, se vedo che gira meglio gliela compro e via.

Mese prossimo cambio e passo a intel

Bro siamo nella stessa situazione, ma stai calmo.

Sotto pandemia ho speso più di 2500$ per il nuovo Pc, Asus Rog Strix, Ryzen 12 core, ddr, m2, hdd etc.. di vecchio ho solo la Vega 56 perché le vga erano introvabili e cmq inavvicinabili, si parlava di 1500/2500 per una scheda video, e non li avevo in tasca e cmq non li avrei mai spesi per una vga del *azzo.

Come te COD e Warzone sono l'unico gioco che odio ed amo, Warzone è pieno di problemi ma è unico, è una droga, non so come spiegarlo ma è l'unico che non mi annoia. A fine giornata aprivo il gioco e mi facevo quell'oretta o due, il 90% delle volte bestemmiando, per i cheater, i bug etc.. ma cmq mi divertivo.

Mi ci rode il culo, devo buttare via, togliermi dalla tasca 700/1000€ per una atteggiamento mafioso, questa è una vera e propria ESTORSIONE da parte di Activision (a cui ho lasciato centinaia di euro tra giochi, skin, armi etc....e da cui NON comprerò manco un chiodo) se vuoi giocare a warzone compra una Nvidia.

Lasciala perdere la 3060 è munneza, o meglio usata al max pagala 200 o 230 NON di più. Altrimenti una 3080 o meglio una 3090 T.I. al max pagala 350-380€

Se puoi prendi la seria 4000 (se non puoi aspetta, il prezzo usato delle 3000 sta calando di giorno in giorno, tutti vogliono le 4000 e svendono le loro 3000 pagate 4 volte il loro valore) è TRE spanne sopra le vecchie 3000, le nuove tecnologie che implementa (mi son ben documentato) FrameGenerator +30% DLSS3 + 40/50%, pieno supporto AV1, IA integrata, cioè è 10 anni avanti rispetto ad Amd ed alla vecchia serie 3000 e sarà il futuro.

Turn off Anti lag and anti lag + on 7000 series, fixed the crashing to desktop on menus for me, but I have to play without the low control latency on Anti Lag, which is bad.

I've found a fix!!!!!!

STEP 1:    Remove GFX Card form Pc

STEP 2: Place said GFX Card in the Bin

STEP 3: Replace with NVidia Card 

STEP 4: Remind self never to purchase AMD products again

Now it worked for me but I can't guarantee the same will fix everyones DIRECTX problem

La S3 parte il 12 ed il 13 aprile è già disponibile sugli scaffali la 4070 e contestualmente noi con amd lo abbiamo preso in quel posto..... fai 1+1 .....

Ma poi parliamo di Activision, parliamo della più grande, ricca (VALE 70 MILIARDI di $ NON MILIONI), capace società di giochi con 20 anni di esperienza alle spalle, ha il TOP dei programmatori e NON riesce a fixare? MINCHIATE CON IL BOTTO!!! Avrebbero fixato in meno di due ore, ho sempre giocato tutti i cod e tutti i warzone, tutte le stagioni e mai avuto problemi, è un bug mirato e fatto apposta.

Nvidia è di Microsoft, Microsoft vuole acquistare Activision, siccome hanno 2000 processi in corso che tutti si oppongono poichè sarebbe il monopolio assoluto, immagina titoli esclusivi solo x pc/xbox, xbox con abbordo gpu della madonna della serie 4000 .... addio non ce ne per nessuno, può chiudere sony e compagnia cantante.

Anche se ufficialmente Activision non è ancora di Microsoft, imho lo hanno già fatto sottobanco, e cominciano a tagliare le gambe alla concorrenza, cmq sia ormai amd è morta e sepolta, se prima occupava appena il 20% adesso fà prima a chiudere.

Devo vedè come raccimolare sti 1000$ per colpa di ste merde.....onestamente sto periodo non posso ora vediamo che mi invento.

P.s. Guarda che le 3060 si trovano NUOVE a 300€ (con 2 anni di garanzia) ho visto adesso, quindi usata max 150€.

I have been talking with Activision Support, but they just tell me the basic solutions that didnt solve anything. They even made me rollback to a old AMD Adrenaline Drive.

Same issue. I haven't been able to play CoD MW2 for the past month now. It is frustrating that it is still unresolved and I haven't seen acknowledgment from Admions that there is an issue, which adds to the frustuation. I would hate to change GPU when it works with the rest of the games I play, but if I have to, for sure, not another AMD. I might be one out of thousands, but we need to gauge our options here. Still, hopeful that they can get it solved.

HONESTLY

1. I don't want activision to win (forcing us to buy nvidia)
2. i don't want to buy nvidia (99% guilty)
3. I don't understand this deafening silence from amd

I'm sure that amd management reads this forum, admin, moderators, staffers (Lisa Su i don't think she's too busy counting OUR money)

Amd I kindly ask you: why don't you give an answer? Matt where are you ?
Have you contacted Activision? They didn't even answer you, but say it, if you keep silent it's worse.

Otherwise I'll buy an Intel Arc 750 and:

- Stop playing Cod
- Stop giving money to Activision
- Stop giving money to Amd
- Stop giving money to Nvidia

Good news, (NO MWII & WZ2.0 FORGET IT FOREVER ON AMD GPU)

Amd shares are getting worse and worse, it's normal, they don't deserve trust, they don't react on any front.

I hope it fails soon!!!

Nvidia title is worth 5X times Amd action, Nvidia flies higher and higher (last month, randomness, Season3 work only in Nvidia gpu LoL), Amd sinks into the abyss. Nice!!!

The problem is in the game code, so server side, *only activision can fix it!!!* . Amd is supposed to help us but ignore us altogether. Just a few days left now, s3 is running out, I'd say totally give up hope, no one will fix the problem.

Io mi sto spaccando di un game "Days Gone" (calza a pennello) non facevo campagne da almeno 10 anni giuro, lo ho messo alla massima difficoltà, è una bella rottura di balle, tosto, ma bello.

Comunque non aspetterò in eterno, Amd mi ha troppo deluso! Ho scritto per problemi a molte case nel corso degli anni (almeno 30), Aerocool, Acer, Asus, Msi (top), Gygabyte etc.. ma anche brand minori e di poco conto, tutte hanno sempre risposto e si son messi a disposizione, anche case minori, ma da una del calibro di Amd non me lo sarei mai aspettato. Morti e sepolti per me Life Time. A settembre debbo fare un nuovo pc gaming x mio figlio, non avrà nulla di amd, garantito.
