I'm reaching out to the community for help with an issue I'm encountering with my AMD Adrenalin software. I've been trying to set my display to a resolution of 1680x1050 with a 240Hz refresh rate, but I'm facing some obstacles that I can't seem to overcome.
The problem: When I attempt to set the resolution to 1680x1050 at 240Hz in the AMD Adrenalin software, I get a red error beside the G refresh rate option. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get past this.
What I've tried:
- Updating to the latest AMD drivers.
- Checking my monitor's specifications to ensure it supports 1680x1050 at 240Hz.
- Trying different cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) to see if there's an issue there.
- Looking through the operating system's display settings for any conflicts.
My setup:
- RX 6700 XT
- Philips 25" gaming monitor 25M2N3200W/00
- DisplayPort
- Windows 11 home
