I refuse to change drivers until FRTC returns.

With FRTC I could set a comfortable limit that my PC can constantly match, resulting in a nice, smooth experience.

If I try to achieve the same by locking the min and max with Chill, it is much more stuttery and uneven.

In games like Apex Legends, where i have played 200 hours with buttery smooth constant 85 FPS, the difference is so noticeable that it feels like I am dealing with a bug or malfunction.

Bring back FRTC.

It's not only FRTC the issue. If would be possible to install new drivers and keep 2019 software with old functionalities like a gambiarra ("work around" from the english don't express as good)... Did anyone tried it?

Yes this approach allows you to utilise newer drivers with the old Radeon Settings software interface. FRTC still works fine this way as of 20.4.2.

Use  Radeon Chill, its the same
