hi, i have a my friend's pc with this problem: he bought a msi radeon rx 570 4gb ARMOUR OC and when he play any game after some time his pc crash with white or black screen and a static noice in audio output.
so here is some test I already done.
in both pcs already done userBenchmark and Heaven benchmark. In his pc with default values crash when temp reach 40 °C, if i reduce the power limit (%) to -50 in afterburn the heaven benchmark can run continuosly without problem but if heat up (with a hairdryer), it crash near 45°C. in my pc the same card and power supply complete both benchmark successfully with 60°C stable.
My friend PC:
CPU:
MotherBoard: Biostar h61mgc ver6.6
ram: 2x4gb (each ram from diferent manofacturer)
My PC:
CPU: INTEL g4400 3.30GHz
MotherBoard: h170 pro gaming
ram 1x8gb
previusly without gpu.
shared part, my friend's:
msi radeon rx 570 4gb ARMOUR OC.
EVGA 600 BR, 80+ BRONZE 600W.
Motherboad: Biostar h61mgc ver6.6
ram: 2x4gb (each rams form diferent manofacturer)
Solved! Go to Solution.
different manufacturer ram is not recommended for stability , maybe try with 1 stick (your stick of 8gb ?) at default settings
reinstall 20.12.1 with "Factory Reset" option
did he bought the RX 570 4G used?

already done it, before post, uninstall and clean install with "Factory Reset". and I don't know if it's used, but everything seems to be used
i mean did you buy the card new - form a normal sales company (like Microcenter etc) or did you bought it used from a friend or ebay etc
