Problems installing Windows 10 Ryzen 2200g

Hello, I been having problems with my PC, my SSD reached TBW and went Read-Only, bought a HDD to make a new Windows 10 install, made USB thumb with Windows 10, boot the USB succesfully but when clicking "Install" it pops up "A media driver your computer needs is missing", it's been a week and running out of ideas so thougt to ask you guys.

Already tried: Use other USB thumbs, Different USB thumbs with W10 NTFS/FAT32, Switching USB legacy mode on BIOS, Switching XHCI Hand-off on BIOS, Disconnecting the SSD, Tried All before this to install Windows 7/8/8.1/11 and all they popped the same message.

Bought the PC with Windows 10 Pro already installed and sended message to the shop where I bought the PC to know if I could send it over to fix (not asking for guarantee, just fix it) and they told me they don't offer repair/maintenance service but recommended someone, that someone told me would have the PC 1 MONTH to CHECK, not even fixing it.

The Windows 10 pro on the SSD works, it crashes after 10 minutes in windows and after the crash the PC fully freezes until I turn it off from power button, i don't know if that helps for something. Ubuntu allows me to install without problems, so it must be something with the BIOS for the Ryzen 2200g

PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 2200g
Motherboard: MSI B450m pro-m2 MAX
BIOS: E7B84AMS.A80
RAM: 16gb Kingston Fury 3200mhz (working at 2400mhz, don't wanna fight with BIOS with the RAM's)
HDD: 2 TB WD Blue
SSD: 480gb Intenso (came with the PC, Read-Only mode, currently disconnected)
No overclocking on anything.

Thanks for taking your time to read it.
Also, sorry if I miswrote something, English isn't my first language.

Have you tried cloning the SSD to the new HDD? If the problem is not the partition but the drive then copying it may be the easiest way to recover.

Otherwise I would ensure that your boot media contains the latest environment, you may want to try downloading and using Windows PE to boot from and prepare the drive for Windows install.

Hello, sorry for the late response and thx:

Tried cloning the SSD on W10 with some tools, did not work, it starts fine but after 4 minutes SSD "activity" goes 100% and stops reading, the HDD stops copying and freezes only increasing the estimated time...

Preparing Ubuntu based disk-cloner (HDDSupercloner), just hope it works.

Update: Neither HDDSUPERCLONER or Clonezilla worked, seems that cloning won't be an option.

I believe that error message during Windows 10 installation means it needs a missing driver for a hardware that you need to supply or attach to the Windows 10 setup files.

found several MS Forum threads concerning this issue for both Win10/11.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/solved-cannot-install-win10-or-win11-due-to-a/...

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-11-install-fails-saying-a-media-driver...  - shows how to add drivers to Windows Installation.

Try disconnecting all the hardware (NVME, SSD, PCIe cards) on the motherboard except your Windows HDD, PSU, GPU, Monitor, and RAM.

When installing Windows make sure to delete all partitions on the HDD before installing Windows 10. See if it now installs.

In one of the above threads the User needed to disconnect a NVME drive that he had on his motherboard for Windows to install without issue. Later I reconnected the NVME without issue.

NOTE: Just google  A media driver your computer needs is missing and you will find several threads and fixes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tried the raid drivers (even thought it's not on RAID mode) and no luck, downloaded all drivers of W10/W11/W7 and tried on every OS install every driver, yet nothing.

From the links instructions, the Windows thumbs were made with the Media Creation Tool except for Windows 7 since it's unaviable.

Going to try again without HDD or SSD.

If your Windows SSD is defective you probably won't be able to clone it. It might end up with a corrupt cloning process.
