Problem with AMD Software: PRO Edition on Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6A Notebook

Hello, I use a laptop Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6A, which has two graphics cards - integrated (AMD Radeon Graphics) and discrete (AMD Radeon RX 6600M). When installing AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition there were no problems, because this software knows that I have 2 video cards and offers to update drivers for them, but from today I decided to switch to AMD Software: PRO Edition, as this software has tools for video recording/video editing and streaming, as well as more detailed and convenient settings. I downloaded and installed AMD Software: PRO Edition on the official site (for AMD Radeon RX 6600M video card) and after a complete installation, I stopped working with drivers on another video card - Radeon Graphics. That is, AMD Software: PRO Edition installs and works correctly, but at the same time the integrated video card Radeon Graphics stops working as before. I noticed that I got FPS loss so I decided to uninstall AMD Software: PRO Edition. This helped me, after which I came to the conclusion that the problem is not with my drivers, but with AMD Software Software: PRO Edition itself. Tried a lot of options:
1. Completely uninstalled the drivers that belong to AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition and then installed AMD Software: PRO Edition.
2. Installed AMD Software: PRO Edition without uninstalling Adrenalin Edition without removing Adrenalin files.
3. I tried to update drivers for AMD Radeon Graphics manually, but it made AMD Software: PRO Edition uninstall itself automatically. Maybe it is a conflict of drivers.
4. I tried to disable AMD Radeon Graphics manually in Device Manager, but it didn't help either.

I hope there is a solution to this problem and I would be grateful if you could help me.

You can't use the AMD Pro version at all. It isn't compatible with your laptop's Ryzen 5600H APU.

Here is the latest AMD VGA Driver for your 5600H APU processor: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-5-mobile-processors-radeon-graphic...

If you noticed there are no "PRO" versions mentioned or shown.

But if Lenovo's OEM AMD VGA Drivers are about the same age as AMD's VGA Driver I do suggest you install Lenovo's OEM AMD VGA Driver which is 100% compatible with your laptop and its 2 GPUs.

The problem is you can't install a AMD VGA Driver that isn't compatible with your AMD Integrated Graphics.

That is why you must only install the AMD VGA Driver for the Integrated Graphics which will install also the Discrete GPU driver.

As you can see the AMD driver is fine with the RX6600 but shows an error for the your processor's APU Integrated Graphics.

Many times the Integrated Graphics works in conjunction with the discrete GPU card. So it there is an issue with the Integrated Graphics the Laptop graphics won't work properly if at all.

I suggest you uninstall the AMD VGA driver you now have in and download Lenovo's own OEM AMD VGA Driver which is compatible with both IGPU and DGPU from here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/legion-series/legion-5-15ach6a/down...

Enter your Serial Number to make sure the above link is the correct download page for your Lenovo Laptop:

It is best to install Lenovo's own OEM AMD VGA driver since it is 100% compatible with your laptop and its features.

Here is the Product compatibility list from the "Release Notes" from the AMD Driver Pro version that only includes 3 Lenovo laptops:

Thank you very much for your comprehensive answer, I will follow your instructions, but I have a new question:
You say I need to update the driver on Lenovo's official website - will that solve my problem using AMD Software: PRO Edition? I'm asking this because you provided a screenshot that lists laptop models that are compatible with PRO Edition, and unfortunately, my laptop does not belong on that list.

Ec3mknahsV8.jpgFirst, I went to the official website of lenovo, then installed the VGA driver that you advised me, then ran a check on all drivers and updated the Bios among other drivers. After that I installed the Adrenalin Edition drivers for the CPU (you showed me the link) and by the way the Adrenalin Edition version is the same as the one for my video card. This means that when I wanted to update the drivers for the RX 6600M graphics card, I had PRO and Adrenalin available, so I thought that the PRO Edition should work on my device.

I think I did exactly as you said and installed everything I needed, but I didn't understand what it was for if PRO Edition won't work on my device. But still I thank you for your help and thanks to you I have updated several drivers, including the Bios to the new version.

I originally needed the PRO Edition only because of the instant replay feature, which allows you to save a segment of the last 20 minutes. Too bad the PRO Edition is not compatible with my device.

Perhaps you know of a program that allows this feature? I would be very grateful to you

OBS is very popular here at AMD Forums and does seem to be compatible with laptop hardware: https://obsproject.com/

A couple of websites with the best gaming replay software:

NOTE: Not sure which ones will work in a laptop.

You can't install a different driver for the discrete graphics on a laptop APU. The only driver you can install is what is designed for it. Which is > https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-mobile-processors-radeon-graphic...

I have a slightly different version of the processor, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, but I see your point, I will update the drivers for the processor as well. Thank you!
