This Monitor is relatively new but even in the latest driver it is still not even recognized as a basic freesync display.
LG Claims it is a Freesync Premium Display and it's even G-Sync Compatible certified with my NVidia GPU.

Please fix that!

I have the same issue but with a Dell G2724D.  Shows as Adaptive Sync. Only way for me to get it to show as Freesync Premium is enable HDR.
