Lack of support for RX 7900 XTX

I do not understand what's wrong with AMD. Releasing RDNA3 with not working ROCm since the day-0.

Past few months since the release of RDNA3, amd keep updating windows driver for games. Do you think people bought 7900 XTX mostly for games? There are so many other communities beside gamers. Scientists, engineers, who use GPU for computational works.

We could not use pytorch for machine learning works because the driver is just not there.

https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm/issues/1880

Some RDNA3 users on those forums are asking about the driver, but they were just ignored.
It's been months past due the release of rocm 5.5.0 that AMD said it supports RDNA3. But AMD is still busy updating windows software for games. Pro consumers are not a priority.

I don't know what else to say.

I hope AMD read this, and do some actions on it.

Dismissed.

Yes, the vast majority bought it to game, and they still have a lot of serious bugs with it.

Thanks for the reply. It does not solve the problem of usability in AI/ML.
@Matt_AMD, would you please to take this to the higher ups?
Thank you.

Please ask them, why the don't release the ROCm to support RDNA3. What took them so long?
