Installed Newest Driver. Now when I boot up my monitor does not have a signal from hdmi

Installed new driver, monitor does not have a signal from hdmi.

Hello,

I installed the latest driver for amd onto my computer, restarted it and it was a black screen. Waited for about an hour. Nothing happened so I turned off the computer by holding the power button, now every time I turn on the computer, it says hdmi signal not found. I am using hdmi to hdmi cables. I am going to buy a vga to DisplayPort and hdmi to DisplayPort tomorrow to see if that may be the problem.

Things I have tried
-using a completely different hdmi to hdmi cable, no solution
-resetting the cmos battery, no solution
-taking out the ram and putting it back in, no solution

Any suggestions will help, thanks!

It would help to know your PC information especially the Make & Model of your GPU card and Windows and AMD Versions installed.

Was it working correctly with the previous AMD Driver?

If so I would install the previous AMD driver again just to make sure it is a driver issue and not a hardware issue.

Best way to check your GPU card is by installing it in another compatible computer and see if the same thing occurs. If it does then most likely you have a defective GPU card.
