I have a problem where my pc shuts down after playing 10 minutes of FC24.
I recently formatted my pc and I updated all my drivers.
After searching for a solution I noticed that many AMD users have this problem.
Also the new update 23.10.1 didn't solve anything for me.
Can someone please help me with this issue!
PC specs?
GPU : RX6600 XT 8gb
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core
RAM : 16gb ram

I should be able to play EA FC 24 easily without it shutting down my pc
roll drivers back to whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-23.9.2.
I just did updates today and all went well except my
AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics
GPU2 AMD Radeon RX 6650M Discrete/Hybrid
This HP OMEN 16 laptop had fits with the new 23.10.1 drivers.
the rollback to previous driver seems to have solved my problem.
I was playing Pillars of Eternity 1 and when i would close the game it would go back out to GOG Galaxy for a few seconds then go to a black screen. I could hit Windows key + P and after about 30 seconds it would finally get back to my desktop.
Tried Quake 4 and Battlefield V and got the exact same results.
Rolled drivers back and so far so good.
It's an EA issue even people with Nvidia cards are having the problems, look it up and you'll see
what power supply make/model?
Corsair RM850
that kind of error it´s not normal to be a game issue. I had a similar problem on my pc, it was an memory instability causing the CPU crash
FC24 is the only game I have this problem with. In the closed beta I was running it very smoothly with no crashes, i think its EA's problem.
i believe you, my pc had the problem only in on specific game also but thats doesnt mean nothing. After i send it to someone to check all the hardware and the pc stability they found that issue. After correcting that, that game didn't crashed anymore.
If your PC is shutting down, that indicates a serious hardware issue. It could be caused by a faulty power supply, or even a component such as the CPU or similiar overheating. If you are not tech savvy, taking it to a computer technician to get the issue properly diagnosed is good advice.
