I've read and saw rumors about AMD is dropping driver support on Windows for Polaris and Vega?  Is this somehow true, or are they “only” pushed two biannual?

I mean, a failed installation (that can occur on literally any PC for various reasons) and an anime discord server is hardly a trustworthy source, on the other hand, it could be true, it would probably make sense for AMD to drop older GPUs and focus only on their new ones.

Hard to say, one can hope.

It is not an anime DC, it is an anime channel on the Isle of Zen DC server, and they are very tech-heavy. Just to clarify this.

I am not angry or so, and we probably don't get an answer anyway, but it would be nice to know.
