driver update program will not find drivers

The update program in express mode just spins on the first screen stating "Please wait while checking Hardware".

In Custom mode, it just sits there with "Checking for new Drivers"

In either case, there is no other option to proceed.

Current install is 2017.0922.1659.28737. I need to go up to a later driver to get Oculus working. There does not seem any way that I can force a driver update from your support site, and when trying to update through windows,  it reports that the lastest driver is installed.

Attached is three images one hardware system, other two from the installer packages

I would suggest a clean install of the drivers
