Consistent Driver Crashes (all games)

CURRENT SYSTEM CONFIG:

OS: Win 11
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2
BIOSv: F31a
PSU: Corsair RM850x - 850w
CPU: Ryzen 7 78003D - 8-core processor
RAM: G.Skill DDR5 4800 - Flare X5
GPU: PowerColor RX 7900XTX Hellhound
HDD: Samsung SSD / M.2
Monitors Tested in Single config: AW3225QF 4k - 240hz/120hz/60hz, ROG PG278QR 1440p - 165hz/144hz/60hz, Spectre F27 1080p - 60hz

 

METHODOLOGY:

Tested by playing Halo Infinite, Dungoneborne, Hunt:Showdown, Cyberpunk2077, or Destiny 2 after each troubleshooting steps until driver crash.  Crash was consistent at 30mins - 3 hours of gameplay. 

 

OVERVIEW OF TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:

-Unplug extra monitors
-Lower refresh rate 120hz / 60hz
-Update drivers clean with AMD tool.  Driver only, no adrenaline
-prevent windows driver updates
-Xmp on/off
-update bios
-pbo (bios cpu overclock) on/off
-ddr5 turbo (bios) on/off
-freesync on/off
-disabled mpo
-fresh install windows
-rma gpu
-replace psu 850w
-windows hardware accelerated GPU scheduling off
-windows VRR off
-optimization for windowed games off
-windows auto hdr on/off
-monitor hdr on/off
-roll back drivers to 23.11.1
-kill yourself*
-disable bitdefender
-uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on all USB Hubs
-disabled windows game mode
-edit registry ENABLEULPS value to 0
-uninstalled Alienware command center package manager
-Reinstalled latest AMD graphics drivers 24.7.1
-Seriously dude, kill yourself*
-DDU tool, reinstall latest gpu driver

-DDU tool in safe mode, disabled windows updates with drivers again (in registry and gpedit)
-Disabled integrated graphics display adapter (processor)
-Disabled all overclocking, pbo, xmp, turbo, processor clock boost, fast boot
-Flipped BIOS switch on GPU to Silent mode
-Ran memtest86 no errors

-Ran Windows memtest no errors
-Ran OCCT stress test CPU+Mem+GPU 2 hour no errors
-Changed windows power profile to balanced
-Ran games in windowed mode
-Unplugged controller (USB)
-No hope*
-sfc /scannow found nothing
-reg edit "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" TdrDelay = 8
-reinstalled latest driver w/ adrenaline software, DDU clean install safemode
-downclock gpu from 2900mhz -> 2700mhz, voltage 1150 -> 1100, vram 2500
-downclock gpu to 2600mhz, voltage 1000, vram 2500 instant crash
-downclock gpu to 2600mhz, voltage 1150

Its knowing issue on some 7800x3d + 7900xtx systems.
Just keep your GPU and CPU downclocked to stock. Max powerlimit on GPU +15 and on cpu curve +10! NO undervolting, also keep em cool. Just this significantly reduces the risk of amd driver crash (DC) But nothing will help get rid of this problem. TY AMD

Roger that, thanks for the reply.  Is that +15/+10 %?  Or +15 voltage(Mv)?
