Cant duplicate screens after trying eyefinity

Hi,

I have a 5700XT NItro+ for about a month now and I usually run duplicate screens.

After trying Eyefinity once I cannot duplicate screens - I did the following:

1.enable the quicksetup of the Radeon software.

2.removed it.

Since than when I try to duplicate screen on the windows I get the following error " the display setting could not be saved" and from the Radeon software if I do "Enable clone" it simply removed the second screen.

This was working before.

I tried using DDU and reinstalling the drivers but no change - using 20.9.1

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

So 5 months later I found a workaround!

In case anyone else is having the same issue here is what you do:

1. Enable EyeFinity

2.Go to windows display settings and lower the resolution to native resolution.

At this point you should have cloned monitors and the windows will recognize this as 1 monitor.

I've done this multiple times and it only seems to work some of the time, in case it doesn't work just do it again!

The Raedon software will keep it cloned even if you restart/unplug the monitors.

Have a great year!
