Cannot Create Desired Custom Resolution

I have a 1920x1080 display and I would like to play certain games in 4:3 stretched. However I do not wish to sacrifice visual quality to achieve this. So I would like to create a custom resolution of 1920x1440. However the Radeon Software will not let me set this custom resolution. I am prompted with the message "The custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display." I wish to do this on my ASUS VG248QE monitor and my settings for this resolution are: 1920x1440 | 144hz | Progressive | Manual | 325080 | 144.001hz | 2056x1098 | 1920x1440 | 24x3 |32x5 | Positive & Positive. I think my timings might be wrong but I have no idea what I'm doing with those. Is there a better way of doing this or is there something I'm missing? I recently moved over from NVIDIA and I was able to create this resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel rather easily. I know my display is capable of it because I played CSGO for nearly 5,000 hours using this custom resolution on this display.
