can someone fix the polaris/vega issue please

drivers downgraded from 24.7.1 to 24.3.1, and that is the latest as of now.

attempting to install 24.7.1 somehow ends up with having 24.3.1

 

Dunno who messed up but please fix, I know the drivers or EOL but downgrading us and leaving us hanging is a **bleep** move.

The release notes for 24.7.1 indicate it is not compatible with Polaris/Vega based graphics cards.

Note however that it is listed as compatible with Vega based integrated graphics in desktop and mobile processors.

Are you experiencing a problem with 24.3.1 drivers? What graphics card do you have?

  • Use a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove any remnants of the current driver installation. This will clear out any conflicts that could be causing the system to revert to an older version.
  • Download DDU from here and follow the instructions for a clean uninstall.
  • Make sure to disconnect from the internet before reinstalling to prevent Windows from automatically installing older drivers.
