I have a HP Desktop M01-F3224 PC that is centered around an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and am wondering whether I can try using AMD Pro drivers instead of Adrenalin?
This is not a gaming pc so I am depending on also using the graphic capabilities of the APU but I can play Fortnite well enough to give me hope that it should be capable of running Fortnite and other low-tier games. Unfortunately I still do sometimes get lockups and AMD's "Driver timed-out" errors while playing Fortnite.
I tried upgrading the memory from the 12GB that came installed with the computer to 64GB but the problems remain.
I did try to download the pro drivers but after choosing "Ryzen 5 5600G" I have no idea which options to choose in the several remaining list boxes.
My motivation to change to pro drivers is because a Youtube video suggested the pro drivers are more stable than AMD Adrenalin but I am open to any suggestions about how I may get my computer to run Fortnite better.
