BSOD amdkmdag.sys Windows 11 Pro

Hello everyone!

New member here!

So I have an HP OMEN 16 c0013nv with 64 GB of RAM. I have installed Windows 11 Pro 23H2 and I tried to install on a clean install the GPU Drivers Adrenalin edition 23.11.1.

No matter what I get a BSOS about amdkmdag.sys and then the laptop reboots twice and goes then to recovery mode. So then I thought maybe I need to update the chipset drivers as well. So I tried to do so with the minimal install, but again the same BSOD. I ran RAM test with memtest86 and storage tests and no issues were found. So, at this point I am wondering what seems to be the problem.

According to the minidump the problem was caused by amdkmdag.sys and ntoskrnl.sys

So from the event viewer this is the info:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff804ba442531, 0xffffd009228082d0, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 9b4ed1f9-cb21-4a9c-aecd-b5c30b70d778.

 

My system's specs are the following:

  • AMD RYZEN 7 5800H
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop (GA107M)
  • 2 X 32 GB OF DDR4 RAM
  • Windows 11 Pro (23H2 UPDATE)

If anybody knows what can I do to solve this issue I would be really grateful!

Read and supply info/logs as per their 'bsod posting instructions'.
