Black screen before login screen, Ryzen 7, 7840 HS, 780m, driver 24.4.1 issue

I'm facing this isssue of black screen just before login. I have to close lid and open it up again and then the laptop starts to work perfectly fine and no black screen issue occures. If i uninstall the amd display driver, I don't face any issue of black screen. But I have installed old version of amd display driver i.e 23.12.1 but it is causing minute and little amount of flickering/ stuttering while using google chrome and microsoft edge.
Someone please tell me what to do.
Its a brand new laptop
HP Victus 16

AMD Ryzen 7, 7840 HS with 780m graphics card
2K screen, 240 Hz

Is there any issue with hardware? Should I return this laptop? and get another?

The black screen on boot is probably a problem related to graphics drivers crashing and stopping the card from outputting a signal. I had the same issue on PC but without the easy lid fix. If you exchange the laptop for another one with the same integrated graphics, it may have the same problem -- until the drivers are fixed, eventually. You could trying disabling the integrated graphics and running on the 4060 only, although that will affect your battery life.
