I'm a bit desperate with the Crashing of Radeon software on Windows 10 IoT enterprise ( ver 21H1).
but, this is only for a Radeon Pro7 hardware use case. it means a specific hardware case.
indeed, When I installed Radeon ProWX9100, it was working fine with 22.Q2 driver.
but, I can't confirm whether this GPU has hardware issues.
I suspect this phenomenon is related to driver software.
Let me know, How I can confirm if it is a hardware issue or not.
Machine spec details are below
- Mother board: Asrock Romed8-T2
- CPU: AMD EPYC 7302P
- GPU: Radeon ProⅦ ( Driver ver 30.021020.2 )
Symptoms are when started Radeon software, it will be unstable and often crashes,
On display cracking noise, and flickering. sometimes, the Display will be black out. then,
Bug report windows popped up.
I've tried to re-install it, I've used Clean Uninstall Utility to remove the driver and then
I had to re-install it again. but, this phenomenon still occurs.
1 Windows Updating
I thought if Windows updated, it might improve, so I've updated Windows but,
When finished Widows updated, 22.q2 driver is not able to install
2 Latest software 24.Q1.1 installing
I've tried to use the latest software, but, it can't install on this system.
error message displayed.( After Windows Updating is done )
3. Install the 24.Q1.1 install without Windows Updating
in this case, Error 202 displayed it can't install.
4. I've updated BIOS
nothing changed
if someone experienced a similar situation, let me know How did you fix it? or
Is this issue related to hardware? should I replace Radeon Pro?
but, when I uninstalled the Radeon driver, the Radeon Pro worked fine with MS' driver. so, I can't confirm Radeon Pro broken.
If it is possible, I want to use Radeon Pro with 22.Q2 software because
before the issue occurred, This machine was working with 22.Q2.
