AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.11.1 - Power Limit increase ignored
After updating to 22.11.1 the Power Limit increase by Adrenalin is ignored with my 6900xt FE.
When using MPT to override this, it is also ignored.
At stress tests, no more than 210W is drawn from the system.
It's costing FPS, so please fix this asap!

Hmm . . . Power limit set works fine on my 6750XT.
Check for junction temperatures. If they are approaching 110 degrees, it is likely that your card downclocks and power throttles itself.
Look into VBIOS, cable layout (should be separate cables for each 8pin) or some vague application conflict?
Try downgrading driver to 22.10.3 for example. Will power limit management return to normal?

Just downgraded the driver and it's hitting the set limits again.
With 22.11.1 it's not even getting hot, like 54C max which makes sense considering it's barely using any power.

Oh, then it must really be broken driver for you for some reason. . . Strange that it only affects this specific GPU.
Try reporting as bug in driver and in email tech support for additional attention, i guess?

I indeed did a bug report via Adrenalin. Let's see if they have a fix for it in the future.
