I followed the Driver installtion intructions on the AMD website here >https://amdgpu-install.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
Ive tried various installation options
sudo amdgpu-install --opencl=legacy
sudo amdgpu-install --usecase=opencl,graphics -y
sudo amdgpu-install --usecase=graphics,opencl --vulkan=amdvlk,pro
I then tried installing the ROCm package
tried this too
$ sudo amdgpu-install --opencl=rocr -y
Ive added the user to the Video and Render groups
Cant get amd OpenCL working. The clinfo reports it as a Platform but with no devices and OpenCL is not available at all in appications such as Blender. The Clover platform reported in clinfo appears in the Mandelbulber App with a device associated with it but it crashes and doesnt work.
Is there some way I can get this AMD driver working with OpenCL?
