Sometimes the optional drivers have issues a more stable version is listed in the support as recommended. Try using the AMD Cleanup Utility or DDU to remove the drivers and reinstall 22.8.2, or for a more stable experience run the last stable driver build you had or the recommended version. The optional builds are essentially BETA drivers meant for people to test features and report bugs and conflicts using the Adrenaline Bug Report tool. They aren't always a good fit if your main concern is stability.
