7900xtx not registering in RGB software

I downloaded the rgb file for windows 10. The application tells me to plug in the AMD device. The GPU is plugged in and registered in device manager. How can i check that the GPU is seated correctly? I have disconnected and reconnected the GPU twice to be sure that it is not a seating error. What should I do?

The gpu works for games like BF2042.
