6700XT coil whine increased.

Hello. Coil whine noise has increased for a few days. Normally, it could not be heard until it reached a certain frequency. Generally, when I open the AMD panel in the game, the sound increases, or the sound increases on the screens where I can see my values with CTRL+Shift+O from the AMD properties. Now, even though I don't turn them on, there is still sound, I think I turned on a feature by mistake. Any ideas?

For the increased coil whine noise with your AMD Radeon 6700XT graphics card, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:

  1. Check Power Management Settings: Adjust power settings in the AMD Radeon panel, such as power limit or enabling features like Radeon Chill.

  2. Limit Frame Rate: Use a frame rate limiter or enable VSync in games to cap the frame rate and reduce strain on the GPU.

  3. Consider Power Supply Unit (PSU): Ensure your PSU is properly rated for your system's power requirements, as an inadequate PSU can contribute to coil whine.

Remember that some level of coil whine can be considered normal, but if the noise is significantly louder or different, it's best to seek further investigation or support.
