256MB Dell C120D 0C120D Radeon HD 3470 PCI-e Dual Display Ports

Hi all. Newbie here.

I have a Dell Poweredge T410 tower server running Windows Server 2019 Data Server.

The server only has 1 VGA/SVGA port, I would like to use dual monitors to extend the desktop display. I recently purchased the graphics card as in the title above but it is not working. Device manager shows an exclamation mark next to it and I have also installed AMD software to detect and hopefully update the driver.  The AMD software is telling me that my graphics car is incompatible with my software / hardware configuration.

Is there an alternative that anyone can suggest I can used or am I fighting a loosing battle with this one. Thanks.

You may want to try a different graphics card known to be compatible with your server and operating system.

Alternatively, you could consider using a VGA splitter to split the VGA output into two monitors. However, please note that this will only duplicate the display and not extend it.

Another option is to use remote desktop software that supports multiple monitors, such as Microsoft Remote Desktop or TeamViewer. This would allow you to access the server from a different computer and extend the display across multiple monitors.
