Most definitely a Ryzen 9 9950x once it releases and of course an AM5 motherboard, would be a great upgrade from the 5950x I use for video editing.

I JUST purchased a Ryzen 9 and a Radeon 7900 XTX for a new build and my wife is definitely jealous. I think I'm going to have to start a new build for her and the Sapphire Pure AMD Radeon RX 7700 would go a long way to making that build a reality.

Most like I will upgrade 5800X3D currently over my 5700X since plan stick with AM4 for now. Down the road I will move to AM5.

I planned to purchase an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and combine it with GPU like the Radeon RX 7700 XT. I chose to go with AMD GPU because it's just a better option for me on my Debian system.

My next AMD purchase will be a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D to upgrade from my AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. My budget keeps me on AM4 at the moment.

I'm thinking of building another pc so maybe the Ryzen 5 8400F or a lower end cpu with integrated graphics depending on what I want the pc for.

I'm going to try to ride my R5 5600 until I can jump to a 9000 series X3D CPU, but I'm definitely in need of a new GPU. I'll wait to see what RDNA 4 has to offer (even though I doubt they'll be readily available or in my price range at launch), but if I can catch a good holiday deal on a 7900 XTX, that'll probably be my next AMD upgrade.

I don't have a desktop atm, but if I were to buy a new laptop, I'd probably go for one with a Radeon RX 7700S. Locally, there is one with a Radeon RX 7900M, a really nice screen, and some other things, but the price jumps quite a bit, making it too expensive for me.

Bit of an unconventional purchase, but I’m planning on getting a Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 Lego kit.
Its the only set with a unique piece with the AMD logo on it and I’m looking to support the AMD’s involvement in F1 sports technology.
