I already have the pc case with my AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor.

One that has good access panels that swing open on both sides of the case but yet are easily removable.

It starts like this... by just fitting a 360 top radiator.

At least two USB 3 port and 1 USB-C port.

Cuz reasons

Ryzen 7 5800X3D| AMD 6800 XT Midnight Black | MSI B550 Gaming Plus | Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 Black
Corsair Dominator 32GB 4x8 | 970 Evo+/ WD SN550 1 TB/860 Evo 500GB | Be Quiet 802 Silent Base Airflow

removeable top dust filters

room for water cooling functionality like the Hyte y60

The pc case must have for me is a design that is well thought out making the build easier and more fun while building.

Visibility windows to see all the pretty rgb's

2 hard drive slots, or more

A good case should have enough space for a 360mm radiator in the top and bottom and have space for e atx Mainboards (so larger workstation and gaming PCs can fit in the case).

Adept III

Good airflow is a must for any build.

Adept I

Case must have good airflow and wire management.

Adept I

I think a handle is absolutely necessary for a PC case. It's vital to be able to carry the case from place to place.

Adept I

zero rgb. no lights at all.

The actual must Have are aesthetics und Airflow like a Wind Tunnel for a breeze cooling

Adept I

Excellent airflow and a quiet fan design

Adept I

It must have a simple to minimal design (possibly white) and with interesting solutions to manage the cables.

Adept I

Dual Chamber

Adept I

Must have good space for cable management.

Call me old fashioned, but I still use a blu-ray disc drive.

I have an external one that plugs in with USB-3.  I can move it around to other computers if I need to.

As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".

Great airflow

Enough room so I don't catch my fingers on any of the potential sharp bits 🤣🤣🤣

Journeyman III

Enough room for my Radeon 7900 xt video card to fit comfortable with my Ryzen processor

What it supports

Bottom and side intake fans and top and rear exhaust fans.

I only use ATX cases.
Bells and whistles are okay, I guess, but firstly I build for go, not show.

I log in and the server goes crazy, I sock more fools than Patrick Swayze.

Must look clean for me! So all or most wiring must have a place to hide.

I am assuming that anyone who wants to buy a PC case can find one that fits their parts and fits their space nowadays. If everyone can do that, then I would say the must-have would be the aesthetics of the case. I look at my cases a lot since it is next to me and if I did not like the way it looked, it would just put a damper on anything I was doing regardless of what was inside. There are so many choices currently, so in addition to getting a case that fits your needs, get one that looks good too. I am actually a bit interested in what case modders would consider a must-have.
