A good case should have enough space for a 360mm radiator in the top and bottom and have space for e atx Mainboards (so larger workstation and gaming PCs can fit in the case).

I think a handle is absolutely necessary for a PC case. It's vital to be able to carry the case from place to place.

I have an external one that plugs in with USB-3. I can move it around to other computers if I need to.

I only use ATX cases.
Bells and whistles are okay, I guess, but firstly I build for go, not show.

I am assuming that anyone who wants to buy a PC case can find one that fits their parts and fits their space nowadays. If everyone can do that, then I would say the must-have would be the aesthetics of the case. I look at my cases a lot since it is next to me and if I did not like the way it looked, it would just put a damper on anything I was doing regardless of what was inside. There are so many choices currently, so in addition to getting a case that fits your needs, get one that looks good too. I am actually a bit interested in what case modders would consider a must-have.
