PC screens go black when discord videos full screen

image_2024-11-20_222544734.pngHello ive recently been having issues with my pc black screening. it all started about 3 weeks ago i was playing Minecraft when my electricity went off mid game. sometimes when i full screen discord videos as well as when certain games go into full-screen such as a league of legends my PC screens both go black, once i reset the pc all goes back to normal. sometimes after the black screen in a few seconds i get an AMD notification telling me that the system managed to recoveronce when the screen when back i wanted to see what would happen if the PC ran its course and it reset itself but once it reset a message popped up saying "the version of AMD software you have launched is not compatible with your current installed graphics driver" but once i reset my pc all was back to normal, i used AMD graphics driver checker but says my system was compatible. does anyone have a fix? Ive tried reinstalling the AMD graphics drivers, chipsets as well as reinstalling windows and updating my bios. According to AMD adrenaline i have the current update (24.10.1) doing all this managed to stop the issue from happening for about 5 days but it seems to have come back. edit: the issue also sometimes happens when i leave discord calls. but does not happen with other games such as genshin impact despite being in full screen

The current Adrenalin driver 24.10.1 is recommended for your RX 5500 XT, so this is a confusing problem.  Did you have any problems with the 24.9.1 Adrenalin driver update?  Have you recently upgraded Windows to the 24H2 version?
