From the PC to the console to the cloud, AMD and Microsoft have built a long-standing and transformative strategic partnership. I am proud of the work we have done at AMD to deliver leadership processors that enable Microsoft to bring the best to their customers. This latest generation of Microsoft Surface laptops is no exception.

With Microsoft Surface Laptop 4, this premium ultrathin laptop family brings incredible performance and portability, combined with stylish designs and consumer-focused features. Surface Laptop 4 offers a built-in HD front-facing camera with powerful low-light capability and a studio microphone array; a high-contrast touchscreen display, Dolby® Atmos™ Omnisonic speakers; large trackpad with gesture support and exceptional typing comfort. In addition, it has the best battery life for a Microsoft Surface laptop to date, with up to 19 hours of typical usage.[1]

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 featuring AMD processors are available in both 13.5” and 15” sizes delivering consumer and commercial configurations with up to 2x more speed, performance, and multitasking power than before.

In fact, the Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Ryzen™ 7 Microsoft Surface Edition processor is the fastest in its class[2] , providing exceptional laptop performance, a smooth flow across browser tabs and fast, multitasking speed across all applications. With AMD Ryzen™ technology, users can expect:

  • A perfect balance of portability, speed, and performance.
  • First Surface Laptop with 8 x86 CPU cores, delivering uniquely powerful performance in an ultra-thin and light design.

According to Microsoft, the new Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Ryzen™ Microsoft Surface Edition processor delivers:

  • Incredible battery life, up to 19 hours making it the Surface Laptop with the longest battery life (for typical device usage).[3] [4]
  • Up to 70% more speed than the Surface Laptop 3 for seamless multitasking and productivity.
  • Up to 2x better performance to handle content creation workloads.

Surface Laptop 4 is available to order now in the US, Canada, and Japan, with additional market availability in the coming weeks. We look forward to hearing what you, the user, have to say once you get your hands on this latest Surface laptop.
