render not working with Mac pro 2010 5,1 (10.15.6) and Radeon vii.

using mac pro 2010 5,1 (10.15.6) w/ radeon vii.  ProRender doesn't render.  Is there a setting i'm not checking or does it not work with this system?

If you start blender from the terminal can you print the error?  Or pull up the error info panel in blender.  Also are you doing CPU + GPU or something else?  

Furthermore... just as a caveat we don't officially support catalina yet.

I'm working in Mojave-  10.14.6 (sorry, my error).

There is no error, or it's not showing an error.-

I have CPU + GPU selected, but i tried just CPU or GPU.

Hmm, ok.  I don't have a VII to test here but I do know they recently updated the drivers.  Can you make sure that you're up to date there?  

If so, can you launch blender from the terminal and check if there's any error reported there?

you can update the drivers in macOS?  i'm up to date, OS wise.
