BLENDER CAN'T USE MY GPU - CUDA/OpenCL

System Information: Operating system:macOS 10.13.6 HIGH SIERRA

Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB

Blender Version: v2.83.8

  1. I realized that GPU wasn't enabled y render tab.
  1. I opened Preferences/system/Cycles Render Devices and found the followen message : No compatible GPUs found for path tracing Cycles will render on the CPU
  1. In order to make blender recognize my GPU, I installed AMD Radeon™ ProRender for Blender compatible with my version of blender (v2.83.8) - Enable it in Add-ons menu.
  1. In Render Properties. I sellected Cycles at Render engine and GPU still not supported.
  1. I sellected Radeon ProRender at Render engine and under Render Devices my GPU does not appear only my CPU (3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon)

rpr 2.4 for blender 2.8 not working with "old gpu" like HD series (5770)


cpu render only or find some old version of rpr (try rpr for blender 2.79)
