Blender 2.8 questions
I've been looking at YouTube tutorials for the latest version of blender but they all seem to show off an earlier version than I am looking at. I don't see how to set up a real time render in the 3D viewer. I don't see a drop down menu that let's me select cycles, Eevee, or blender render. Is anybody out there used to using 2.8?

Eevee is Blender's Real-time rendering engine. If you are trying to see your scene in real-time throught the view port, then with "Eevee" selected as your Render Engine, select either of the last two Viewport Shading Options; "Material Preview" or "Rendered".
Both will render your scene in real-time in the viewport. The Material Preview will add a default HDR Enviro map to light your scene. The Rendered Preview will use the lights in the scene and will give you a more acurate preview of what the final render will look like.
