Here is my Battle Station. I built it about a year ago. It features two 34" Curved Gaming Displays connected to an AMD Radeon RX 6800XT, allowing me to play one of my favorite games (sim) EA's F1 2022 when the fam is asleep! This config is great; it allows me to enjoy the benefits of either dual or single 34" monitors when I work from home as I normally have multiple windows open at once (i.e. the community admin dashboard, Outlook, a few Excel files, and of course Chrome).
Yes! I am a huge fan of Breaking Bad! We miss you, Walter!
It's funny how a racing cockpit improves your gaming by a factor of 1000!
Here are the specs:
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Mobo: ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus
RAM: 32 GB G-Skill Trident DDR4 3600
Display 1: MSI MPG341QR (3440 x 1440)
Display 2: Viotek GNV34DB Ultrawide Gaming Monitor
PSU: Corsair RM850x - 80 Plus Gold
Case: Corsair 5000D - Airflow ATX
Looks efficient to me.
Sober looks, nothing there screams too loud or out of place, its the balanced and clean.
Maybe the cables underneath peeking a bit but other than that, well cable managed.
Do you have some led lighting for night gaming?
PS: Love the fighter jet hanging.
Ah ha! I knew someone would notice the cables! They're driving me crazy but I've been lazy. I'll fix them!
It's a McDonnell F4B Phantom model by Tamiya!
You are not watching my awesome creations 🤣 Juuuuuuuuuust kidding
But this thing can do wonders for multiple cabling. IKEA doesn't sell them anymore but I'm sure other retailers will have something similar or better.
I wait for the day when they create transparent cables!
Us nerds and our Battlestations...
Nice sundowner.
No desk chair? I was expecting a red and black one.....
Why an F-4? Interesting sidenote, in high school one of my buddy's dads was an RF-4 pilot. Guy flew in both Vietnam and Korea. Retired from the military and of all things he started a business selling old military Jeep parts... in the 80's, long before the internet was used for selling stuff.
Because my cousin used to fly the F-4 Phantom. And, when I was a little boy, he took me to the base and let me sit in the cockpit.
