I ran the x570 Taichi for years with various CPUs .. it was a great motherboard for me .. and continues to be a great motherboard for my buddy that I sold it too
I still run the Gigabyte RX 6800 Gaming OC in my daughters setup .. that's been a great card for me and now my daughter
I currently run the Corsair HX1200 .. that's been a great power supply for me .. still going strong.
Great setup you got there!
Thank you. It's been doing it's job for over 2 years so far, upgraded from a Ryzen 7 3700x to the 5700x and still runs everything I want it to.
I had the 3700x, 3800xt, 5600x, 5800x, and finally the 5900x all running on my x570 Taichi. Various RAM .. best stuff was a 2x16GB HyperX 3200 CAS16 kit that could do 4000, but I'd get sound crackling on the 5000 series Ryzen's with FCLK set to 2000 ..plus I think I had to go a bit over 1.4v on RAM and I don't like going 1.4v or over .. so I settled on 3800 CAS18 1.92v w/1900 FCLK
I was, and still am .. a BIOS update fiend and I think I still have like the last 15 BIOS's (or more) on one of my drives .. out of all of them, there was only one BIOS version that had issues so I rolled back to previous .. and that was a few years ago
Remember, with ASRock AM4 and AM5 motherboards, you don't need a USB flash drive to flash your BIOS .. just unzip the BIOS file to the root directory of one of your drives and Instaflash in your BIOS will see it just fine
..and oh yeah .. I run that 4000D Airflow case too .. great case!
Really love how warm this whole space looks. Cozy indeed! ...At least up until you start hearing all the ruckus from an FPS... does the color on those RGBs go blood red? 😂
It can. I configure the RGB on the desk with the app on my phone. I used to mess with people by using google assistant, and saying hey google turn lights to red. It was fun, but I can't do it anymore as my mic in my phone is busted. Word of advice, it only takes a little isopropyl alcohol to clean a charging port. I flooded mine and now my mic is busted. lol
You live and you learn.
Looks very nice. What's providing the yellow glow from below? I think its an LED strip.
Yes it is. It is a cheap one from Walmart but it does the job.
Great job!! @cpurpe91
