Compiled and executed simple_matmult using SuSE 11.0 & Catalyst 8.7 on a Radeon 4870???

Downloaded AMD Stream SDK v1.1-beta and compiled and executed simple_matmult using SuSE 11.0 & Catalyst 8.7 on a Radeon 4870.  The result follows:

        a lock first, which indicates a programming error.

Wait for AMD Stream SDK v1.2-beta and use Catalyst 8.8. SuSE 11.0 isn't officially tested though, but it should at least take care of most of the issues with using a newer version of Catalyst.
