I am planning for a build so that I can test apache spark and kafka. I currently have more than 20 RTX3070 at home due to cryptomining so I want to repurpose them for this. I have a budget of around $2500. From what I understand, I probably need something like an EPYC7642 or EPYC7402, however, both are gen2 EPYC and I am unsure if they are compatible with the software. Would anyone be able to confirm this? I am a total beginner in building servers so if anyone have suggestions for other hardware or CPU please tell me.
