No, that is really old (from 2002?), but here is a list of compatible devices:

You can get a low end card cheap, but also check the capabilities from the manual, not all devices support all operations.

That is quite a bit of an old notebook to run anything on. I guess you could still try the SDK and you might be able to run OpenCL code on your CPU maybe (but I dont know what are the requirements for CPU support in the AMD SDK for sure...) You can get an AMD APU based laptop as low as $300 and you can run OpenCL apps both CPU and GPU parts within. (also enjoy the performance at the same time)
