Is it possible to use the recently released Catalyst 10.9 driver with SDK 2.2?
Are there any advantages or disadvantages?
The Catalyst drivers are now released on a monthly cycle, do these updates also
contain fixes that relate to OpenCL?
I also want to know these things.
And some developers have previously stated that Catalyst 10.8 works fine with SDK 2.2. But why haven't this page http://developer.amd.com/gpu/ATIStreamSDK/Pages/default.aspx#two been updated in the "Tested drivers" section to state Catalyst 10.8?
I would also like to know this. Currently I'm using the beta Catalyst 10.7 drivers with openCL support and i would like to know if there are any updates to those or is it just safe to upgrade to normal Catalyst 10.9 drivers (for Linux that is).
i upgraded to 10.9 with SDK 2.2 and run some examples. it works fine even bigger app like SLG from davibu.

10.9 fixes some issues in CAL which could fix some issues in OpenCL indirectly. You can use 10.9 drivers with SDK2.2 without any problem.
