Oculus Runtime 1.20 breaks DK2 on AMD Videocards

Found out myself. No way to go back to 1.19, updates are forced.

DK2 now rendered unusable. Using a AMD R9 290 on Win7 x64

 

Nvidia cards have no problem.

 

Considered to upgrade to CV1 in the past, now not anymore. Not throwing my money at these people.

The issue was already well-known and reported in the beta, but made its way to release version anyway.

Oculus support advices to get a new HDMI cable..

 

 

If AMD could have a fix on their next (beta) driver this would help a lot of people ;-)

I do not expect much from Oculus.

 

Many suffer the issue.
